STORMIE'S ACTIVITY CARDS

I'm so excited about now offering you sets of 4 x 6" index cards of preschool ideas and activities.  They make great gifts for teachers and other caregivers (even parents/grandparents).  And they also make great conference door prizes.  AND SHIPPING IS FREE!

Each set of cards has 60 ideas/activities, in these categories:

5 Art Activity Cards
5 Creative Drama Activity Cards
5 Fingerplays/Kid's Poems Cards
5 Food Activities and Snack Cards
5 Language Activity Cards
5 Large Motor Activity Cards
5 Music Activity Cards
5 Pre-Math Activity Cards
5 Science Activity Cards
5 Small Motor Activity Cards
5 Social Activity Cards
* Plus
5 Teacher Notes/Extra Stuff Cards

Note:
The total number of cards in each set will vary because some activities take more than one card to explain, but you will always get 60 ideas per set.

My goal was to save you planning time, so, the activity cards include:
*Skills Practiced:
I list at least one skill (and usually more) that gets practiced by the children when they do the activity.
*Theme Suggestions: I do offer "theme suggestions" so that you can file the cards according to theme (Animals, Community Helpers, etc.) if you want, rather than by the skill categories listed above.  But it's ultimately up to you as to how to use and/or file them.
*Mini-Ed: On some of my cards, I remind you of additional "academics" that are (or can be) taught by the activity that aren't always so obvious.  Those of you who are familiar with my website know that I refer to these as Mini-Education subjects (History, Geography, Multicultural Ed, Character Ed, Safety Ed, and Environmental Ed).  By the way, Mini-Music Appreciation ideas just naturally fall under the category of "Music" (in list at top of this page).
*Supplies Needed: So that you will know immediately what supplies are needed, I have underlined and bold-printed them in the activity write-ups.
Exceptions:
1. I don't always highlight materials that schools usually have available on a daily basis (like glue, crayons, pens/pencils, construction paper, children's scissors).
2.When an activity can be done more than one way and calls for differing sets of supplies, I simply state something like "optional materials," which merely means you'll have to read the card more thoroughly to find out what you need.

BONUS CARD SET: I also offer a "Cover Cards" set: There are 12 cards in this set, one for each of the 12 categories listed at the top of this page.  Here's a sample for you to see: Art Activities Cover Card

*All ideas and activities on my cards are chosen at random from my ENTIRE home collection (including my own personal ideas from my website), plus new activities that I'm continually creating on an on-going basis.

Depending on the success of the card sets I've already created, I hope to offer many many more in the future.  In the meantime, to order my current sets, click below
